THE BIRTH OF LIGHT

A painting born on 21 June, a beautiful summer solstice day, the day when light defeats darkness…

Without the contrast of “darkness” we would often fail to see the beauty and power of light.

Every night carries us into a magical world full of stars that are invisible in the sunlit sky.

Every morning delights with sunbeams that reveal the endless palettes of the world around us…

And so we exist, in endless, repeating cycles.

At night both the sky and the ocean look majestic in the moonlight…

“Be the rising moon
in my dark nights.
I thirst for your light.”
